About the challenge.

I’ve got a problem that a lot of people these days seem to have, too many games. All the Humble Bundles, Steam sales, GoG sales that happen and before you know it you’ve got a game library that’s hundreds of games and you don’t know where to start.

APPARENTLY it’s even got a name, “Analysis paralysis”, over analyzing a situation so much that you end up not making a decision at all.

As it stands my Steam account looks like this:

My Steam library as of 5/14/2017

I’ve got 270 games, 651 hours of total playtime, and I average 7.8 hours of playtime. 69% are games I’ve never played. It’s pants on head crazy. This isn’t even including the games in my GoG, uPlay, Blizzard, or Origin libraries.

SO, what’s my point? My point is that i need to play my games, and to do that I am going to use a Steam randomizer to pick a game. Each game the randomizer picks I will play for 4 hours and move on. If I like it I might circle back to it at another time, but I probably won’t, who knows! But I will move on to another game regardless. I will post videos (probably) and screenshots/write ups about the game as I play it. Hopefully I don’t bail on this in the meantime.

WE SHALL SEE.
